Short version: dibidip has no accounts and no logins, keeps your choices on your own device, does not track you, does not show ads, and never sells your data.
dibidip does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any personal identifier. The choices you make in the app, the streaming services you select, the titles you save, and your pick history, are stored only on your device using local storage. We cannot see this data, and it is not uploaded to us.
When you search for a film or show you love, or when dibidip shows you a pick and suggests similar titles, it sends the title of that work (and public details such as its release year) to our server to find comparable titles. This request contains no account, name, device identifier, or other personal information, and it is used only to return recommendations. Results may be cached by the title of the work, never by anything that identifies you.
To show accurate recommendations and availability, dibidip sends non-personal queries (such as a mood, a genre, or a title) to the following providers:
These requests are made to provide the app's core function. They do not include personal information about you. Standard network information (such as an IP address) may be processed by these providers to deliver their responses, as with any internet request, and is handled under their own privacy policies.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the app removes all locally stored information. A fresh install starts you over from setup.
dibidip is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, no such data is gathered.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
